Youthful Expression

A playful highball riff from Sother Teague of NYC’s Amor y Amargo that tastes a bit like a whiskey and coke without any actual soda The kola nut and botanicals/spices in the Ramazzotti are reminiscent of a Dr Pepper crossed with a touch of root beer. When combined with the subtle orange notes in the bourbon and the juniper in the gin, the mixture takes on the flavors of a Coke spiked with a bit of whiskey. The Bitters and Club Soda give the drink some lift and effervescence 1 oz Ramazzotti Amaro (Italian mildly bittersweet Amaro with notes of cola, root beer, orange peel) 1 oz Bourbon 1 oz London Dry Gin (Beefeater, Tanqueray, etc) 2 dashes Bittercube Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters Stir with ice and and strain into a chilled Collins glass with ice cubes. Top with 2 oz seltzer or club soda. No garnish
