A refreshing, floral take on a Gin Sour or Bee’s Knees with added notes of coconut and smoke 🐝 🥥🍋 The juniper and other botanicals in the gin work really nicely with the softer floral notes of the Meyer lemon while the addition of Mezcal adds some complementary notes of citrus zest and a touch of smoke. The coconut creme helps add richness while complementing the floral notes and adding a touch of the tropical. The falernum and Bolivar bitters add hints of baking spice and chamomile and the traditional lemon helps balance the acidity 1.5 oz Gin (Beefeater, Tanqueray, Four Pillars) .5 oz Mezcal (Espadin variety) 1 oz Coconut Creme (equal volumes of unsweetened coconut milk and 2:1 simple syrup; add a pinch of salt and stir until fully combined) .75 oz Fresh Meyer Lemon Juice .25 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .25 oz Falernum (Rum-based liqueur from Barbados with lime zest and cloves) 1 dash Bittercube Bolivar bitters (notes of chamomile) Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist
