Warm Woolen Mittens

A rich, yet refreshing beer cocktail that features comforting flavors and spices to enjoy during winter while making plans for spring 🥥🥜 The bit of coconut liqueur and cinnamon syrup boost the toasted coconut notes in the beer while the dry, nutty Amontillado sherry, Chocolate Mole Bitters, and oak and pecan notes in the wheated bourbon add complementary flavors and the lemon brightens things a touch 1 oz Wheated Bourbon (Rebel Yell Small Batch, Bernheim, etc) .5 oz Amontillado Sherry .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .5 oz Cinnamon Syrup (crush 3-4 cinnamon sticks and add to 1/2 Cup each granulated sugar and water; stir until sugar is dissolved on medium-low heat and simmer 4-5 minutes before straining) Tsp Coconut Liqueur 1 dash Chocolate Mole Bitters (Bittermens, Scrappy’s, etc) Shake with ice and strain into a chilled Collins glass with ice cubes. Top with 1.5 oz Porter or Imperial Stout (one with toasted coconut is best, but other good beers in these categories should sub). Garnish with a swizzle stick
