A bright, funky Tiki punch from NYC’s Shannon Mustipher that takes advantage of winter citrus 🍊🍋🗿 The mix of funky Jamaican rums and aged Bajan rum results in a base with notes of molasses, tropical fruit, oak, and baking spice that is complemented by the citrus flavors from the orange liqueur and fresh blood orange and lemon juice. A few dashes of Angostura bring additional notes of clove and other spices
1.5 oz Jamaican Black Rum (Coruba, Hamilton Pot Still Black, etc)
1 oz Aged Bajan (Barbados) Rum (Real McCoy 12 yr, Mount Gay Black Barrel, etc)
.5 oz Aged Jamaican Rum (Worthy Park 10 yr, Appleton Signature, etc)
1 oz Orange Liqueur (Rhum Clement Creole Shrub has a rum base that works well; Cointreau works in a pinch)
.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .5 oz Fresh Blood Orange Juice
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled Tiki mug or footed pilsner glass with ice cubes. Garnish with a dehydrated citrus wheel and swizzle stick
