Thinkin Bout You

While the title of this refreshing Martini riff is in reference to thoughts about the arrival of spring, the garden fresh flavors are also a tribute to my mom and her love of gardening 🥒
The gin botanicals and vermouth lend juniper and other subtle spice notes while the green chilies in the vodka, the cucumber and melon notes in the Aloe Liqueur, and the herbal absinthe add notes of both spice and cooling, refreshing flavor. The Cucumber and Lime bitters add additional fresh flavor and tie the drink together
1.5 oz Gin (a softer, less overpoweringly junipery bottle works best)
.5 oz Green Chile Vodka (St George is excellent , or easy to infuse your own)
.5 oz Blanc/Bianco Vermouth (Dolin, Carpano, etc)
.25 oz Chareau Aloe Liqueur (has refreshing notes of cucumber and musk melon)
2 dashes Bitter Truth Cucumber Bitters
1 dash Lime Bitters (Scrappy’s)
