That Party Last Night

A spiced Tiki punch from Austin’s Midnight Cowboy that can be scaled up to share with a friend (or whole party) The cinnamon and licorice notes from a little, obscure German Amaro known as Jagermeister mingle with the oak, cinnamon, and vanilla notes from the bourbon while the intriguing tartness of the Passion Fruit syrup works with tropical hip aromas and orange and lemon citrus notes to balance the drink .75 oz Bourbon (No need to go too fancy; a tasty and budget friendly bourbon like Wild Turkey 101 works great) .75 oz Jagermeister (despite its frat-boy rep, this is actually a nicely spiced, complex Amaro) .5 oz Grand Marnier (orange liqueur with cognac base) .75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .5 oz Fresh Orange Juice (if available, Cara Cara Juice has way more flavor than most Valencia or Navel oranges) .5 oz Passion Fruit Syrup (Small Hand Foods) 2 dashes Angostura bitters Shake with a few small chunks of ice and strain into a chilled, footed pilsner glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint, a lemon wheel, and half moon of orange
