Take Me To Marrakech

A complex, delicious Sour variation from NYC’s Sother Teague that transports the tastebuds to a Moroccan spice market
The apricot and subtle prune notes in the Armagnac mingle nicely with the honey syrup and citrus while being complemented by the lemon peel and savory cardamom notes in the bitters to result in a complex, yet refreshing drink
1.5 oz Armagnac (younger VS Bas Armagnac like Tariquet or Chateau de Pellehaut L’Age de Glace are a good choice)
.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
.5 oz Fresh Orange Juice
.5 oz Honey Syrup (1 part honey: 1 part warm water)
2 dashes Scrappy’s Cardamom Bitters
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish
