Stockholm Sling

A variation on the Singapore Sling that brings some Scandinavian ingredients to the Tiki party
The caraway, star anise, and dill bring some refreshing herbal flavors that are supplemented by the blackberry and cherry notes from the liqueurs and the honey notes in the Benedictine. The lime juice and club soda lighten the drink and provide acidity
1.5 oz Aquavit (an unaged aquavit like Krogstad or Aalborg works best, though intrigued with how Linie would work)
.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
.25 oz Cherry Heering (cherry flavored liqueur from Denmark)
.25 oz Blackberry Liqueur (Giffard makes an excellent version; of you have access to a lingonberry jam/marmalade, could sub a barspoon for this and the Heering)
.25 oz Benedictine .25 oz Dill Syrup (steep 4-6 sprigs Fresh dill in 2:1 Simple Syrup on low heat for 5 minutes before straining)
1 dash Scrappy’s Lime Bitters
1 dash Aromatic Bitters (Angostura, Miracle Mile Forbidden, Abbott’s, etc)
Shake with ice and strain into Collins glass with ice cubes. Top with 2 oz Club Soda. Garnish with a lime wedge (can add a cocktail umbrella if you have on hand)
