South Central Rain

A refreshing, flavorful highball that takes the palate for a ride The stonefruit notes in the Japanese whisky are amplified by the peach liqueur and complemented by the honey syrup, lemon, and subtle smoke from the mezcal. Meanwhile, the complex tartness of the passionfruit is echoed by the sour beer (also with passionfruit) and complemented by the tropical fruit notes in the mezcal 1.5 oz Japanese Whisky (no need to go too fancy, Suntory Toki works great) .5 oz Mezcal .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .25 oz Passionfruit Syrup .25 oz Peach Liqueur (Giffard) .25 oz Honey Syrup (2 parts honey: 1 part warm water Shake with ice and add to chilled Collins glass with a few ice cubes. Top with 1.5 oz of Sour Beer (something with Passionfruit like Modern Times Fruitlands, Temescal’s Boomerang, etc would be best). Garnish with a lemon wheel
