Snake Eyes

A refreshing riff on the Caribbean warm weather classic Scotch and coconut from Brooklyn bar Grand Army with agave and a touch of banana 🐍 👀🥥🍌
The citrus zest and smoke notes in the blend of mezcals work nicely with the coconut water and squeeze of bright lime juice. A bit of cane syrup and splash of banana liqueur help balance the drink while adding a touch of tropical sweetness and the half salt rim adds a nice contrasting flavor
1.5 oz Mezcal (can use Espadin variety bottle of choice; I chose to blend 1 oz of Espadin with .5 oz of a more citrus zest forward sierrudo/cuishe agave blend in the drink above)
2 oz Coconut Water
.25 oz Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz Cane Syrup (Clement, JM Sirop de Canne, etc)
Tsp Banana Liqueur (Giffard or Tempus Fugit)
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled Collins glass with ice cubes and a half salt rim (rub rim of glass with cut side of lime wedge and roll in kosher salt). Garnish with a swizzle stick
