An apricot-forward riff on the Tiki classic Sidewinder’s Fang The molasses and tropical banana/pineapple aromas/flavors from the Jamaican rums work very well with the jammy flavor of apricots from the liqueur and juicy Apricot IPA while the citrus and passion fruit bring a refreshing tartness 1 oz Black Blended Rum (Coruba is great, Hamilton Jamaican Black or Myers could sub) 1 oz Blended Aged Jamaican Rum (Appleton Signature or Estate, Golden Devil Worthy Park; I decided to add .5 oz of each) 1.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice 1.5 oz Fresh Orange Juice 1 oz Passion Fruit Syrup (Small Hand Foods) .5 oz Apricot Liqueur (Rothman & Winter, Giffard) Shake with ice and strain into a footed pilsner glass filled with crushed ice. Top with 2 oz Juicy IPA (low IBU options advised; an Apricot IPA is best (like SevenStills CitraCot) if available). Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a swizzle stick #weekendtiki
