Short Rib

A flavorful spicy Margarita riff/new modern classic from NYC drink wizard Phil Ward meant for pairing with dinner. When the world around you seems like a mess, sometimes all you need is a good margarita 🄃 The spice and green notes of the jalapeño/green chile work very well with the tart, yet sweet pomegranate molasses while the citrus zest notes in the Blanco tequila and fresh lime juice add refreshing balance 1.5 oz Blanco Tequila (100% agave; El Tesoro, Tapatio, Fortaleza, etc) .5 oz Green Chile Vodka (St George; can also use 2 oz of jalapeño-infused Blanco tequila if you have some fresh jalapeños from the garden or market) .75 oz Fresh Lime Juice 1 oz Simple Syrup (equal parts granulated sugar and water; stir until dissolved) 3/4 tsp Pomegranate molasses Shake with ice and strain into a chilled double rocks glass with a few ice cubes.
