Shook Ones, Part 1

Smoke, coconut, and a touch of citrus are united in this Sour/Daisy riff from the opening menu of Chicago's delightful Mezcaleria Las Flores 1.5 oz Mezcal (Del Maguey Vida works great) .75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .75 oz Coconut Liqueur (Kalani) .5 oz Simple Syrup (1:1) 1 dash Angostura Bitters Small pinch of salt Rinse a rocks glass with a barspoon of absinthe. Meanwhile, shake drink with ice and strain into rinsed glass, add a few ice cubes. Garnish with a light dusting of cocoa powder
