She Uses Tangerines

A refreshing beer cocktail that combines juicy hops and winter citrus 🍊 The tangerine flavor from the juice is boosted by the additions of Mandarin liqueur and a bit of French bittersweet liqueur with notes of spice and orange peel. These flavors pair well with the dusty oak and vanilla notes in the bonded bourbon and the juicy hops in the hazy double IPA. The addition of honey syrup adds an undertone of deep sweetness while the lemon juice brings the acidity of the drink into balance 1.5 oz Bourbon (Bottled in Bond variety like McKenna is optimal) .5 oz Fresh Tangerine Juice .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .5 oz Honey Syrup (2 parts honey: 1 part warm water) .25 oz Mandarin Napoleon (liqueur based on flavor of mandarin orange; Grand Mariner is probably closest sub due to brandy base) .25 oz Bigallet China-China Amer (French Bittersweet spirit with nice notes of orange peel and spice; Amaro CioCiaro is probably closest sub) Shake with ice and strain into a chilled double rocks glass with a few ice cubes. Top with 1.5 oz hazy double IPA of choice
