A variation of the Tiki classic Sidewinder’s Fang that incorporates additional spices and beer The passionfruit syrup, honey, peach, cinnamon notes from the German Amaro and alpine liqueur work with the molasses notes in the rum to lend a complex, layered sweetness while the lime, orange, and passionfruit sour beer add needed tartness and effervescence and the mint enhances the aroma 1 oz Blended Aged Jamaican Rum (Appleton, Hamilton Gold Jamaican, Golden Devil Worthy Park, etc) .5 oz Dark Rum (Coruba, Goslings, etc) .5 oz Jagermeister (not just for frat parties has complex cinnamon bittersweetness) 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice 1 oz Fresh Orange Juice (Cara Cara have the most flavor) .5 oz Passionfruit Syrup (Small Hand Foods) .5 oz Honey Syrup (2 parts honey: 1 part warm water) Tsp Peach Liqueur (Giffard) Tsp Leopold Bros Three Pins Alpine Liqueur 1 dash Bittermens Elemakule Tiki Bitters Shake with ice and add to footed pilsner glass with crushed ice. Top with 1.5 oz Passionfruit Sour Beer (Modern Times Fruitlands, Temescal Boomerang, etc). Garnish with Sidewinder Orange Peel and sprig of fresh mint #weekendtiki
