Rye Tai

A refreshing, whiskified take on the Tiki classic Mai Tai from NYC’s Sother Teague
The black pepper and slight cinnamon spice of the Rittenhouse and the dusty, nutty floral Old Overholt work well with the lime, orange, and almond sweetness of the Orgeat. Great for a warm afternoon or early evening
1 oz Overproof Rye (Rittenhouse is good choice)
1 oz Old Overholt Rye
.5 oz Orange Liqueur (Combier or Cointreau better than curacao in this case)
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz Orgeat
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled double rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a lime shell
