Puck’s Punch

A refreshing springtime riff on the Southside inspired by Violet Hour’s Juliet & Romeo and named for another Shakespeare character that spent more time in the Garden 🥒🌿 The juniper and other botanical notes in the gin pair really nicely with the sweet vegetal notes of spring peas that are infused into the gin as well as the cooling notes of mint and cucumber (muddled fresh, via the cucumber notes in the aloe liqueur, and the bitters). The lime juice helps brighten the drink while the marjoram syrup adds a floral note Muddle 3 ribbons of cucumber and the leaves from one sprig of fresh mint in .25 oz of Chareau Aloe Liqueur (cucumber and green melon notes) Add 2 oz Spring or Snap Pea-Infused Gin (chop 1/2 C of peas and cover with 4 oz of London Dry Style Gin; let infuse at room temp for 1 hour with occasional stirring before straining) .75 oz Fresh Lime Juice .5 oz Marjoram Syrup (add leaves from ~7-10 marjoram sprigs to 1/2 C each granulated sugar and water; stir until sugar has dissolved on medium-low heat and simmer 3-5 minutes before straining) 1 dash Bittercube Truth Cucumber Bitters Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a mint leaf (slap with open palm before adding to release aromas) and 3 drops of Angostura Bitters
