Powerful Baritone

A stirred Pencillin riff from NYC drink mastermind Sother Teague that still manages notes of honey, lemon, and ginger 🥃🍯🍋 The blended Scotch and medium bodied Amaro bring notes of peat, honey, and citrus peel while the Czech digestive bitter Becherovka adds notes of baking spice and the splash of Italian herbal liqueur adds notes of bitterness, mint, and saffron. The bitters boost the ginger and lemon peel notes. A delicious after dinner drink .5 oz Blended Scotch (Compass Box Great King St Glasgow Blend has a nice note of peat/smoke that works well here) .5 oz Amaro Montenegro (Italian Amaro with medium bittersweet notes and hints of citrus peel) .25 oz Becherovka (Czech digestive bitter with notes of cinnamon, honey, and mild bittersweet finish) .25 oz Strega (Italian herbal liqueur with saffron and other herbs/spices) 1 dash Bittercube Jamaican Bitters #1 (ginger, allspice, black pepper notes) 1 dash Bitter End Moroccan Bitters (notes of lemon-y sumac and other spices) Stir with ice and strain into a double rocks glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with the expressed essential oils from a lemon twist (and add the twist to the drink)
