A delicious Old Fashioned riff with some high altitude spirits
The berry and pine flavors from the Pasubio combine with the cinnamon notes and Rocky Mountain herbs and spices from the Three Pins to provide delicious accents to the spicy Rye blend from High West while the Moroccan Bitters add some spice and lemon peel notes
2 oz Rye (want a bottle like High West Double Rye, James E Pepper, or Rittenhouse that has some spice and oomph)
.25 oz Pasubio Vino Amaro (wine-based Amaro from the mountains of Northern Italy with berry and pine notes)
.25 oz Leopold Brothers Three Pins Alpine Herbal Liqueur
2 dashes Bitter End Moroccan Bitters
Stir with ice and strain into double rocks glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with a few blueberries
