A Martini variation for the Holidays
The piney notes in the Terroir Gin work really well with the cranberry shrub while the blanc vermouth mellows things and the Orange bitters tie things together and add a bit of spice
2 oz pine/juniper forward gin (St George Terroir is my favorite)
.5 oz Blanc Vermouth
.25 oz Cranberry Shrub (Simmer 1/2 C cranberries in mix of 1 C each granulated sugar, water, apple cider vinegar for 10 minutes, breaking cranberries with back of spoon, strain out berries, refrigerate)
2 dashes Orange Bitters (Regan’s No 6 have a nice spice note)
Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish
