Monkey Butler

A dry, tropical low ABV martini riff that is great for sipping with dinner as you watch the sunset 🐵🎩🥭 The dry Manzanilla sherry provides notes of green apple and white wine that provide a perfect base for the ripe (but not sweet) mango flavors from the mango eau de vie. Small amounts of coconut and vanilla liqueurs provide some complementary background flavors to the mango while combining with the Blanc vermouth to give body to the drink. Lime and the sumac/lemon peel-forward Moroccan bitters tie everything together
1.5 oz Manzanilla Sherry (Dry sherry noted for green apple and hints of saline; think a nice, dry white wine absent oak notes)
.5 oz Mango Eau de Vie (Rhine Hall; basically a very dry fruit brandy)
.5 oz Blanc/Bianco Vermouth (Dolin, Carpano, etc)
Tsp Vanilla Liqueur (Licor 43, Giffard, etc)
Tsp Coconut Liqueur (Kalani)
1 dash Scrappy’s Lime Bitters
1 dash Bitter End Moroccan Bitters
Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist
