Mariah Sherry

A tart, refreshing highball from Talia Baiocchia’s (editor of Punch) book, Sherry The tart grapefruit and juicy, bittersweet Aperol are complemented by the freshly muddled mint, lime juice, and dry, slightly nutty sherry with bubbles from the club soda Muddle 5-7 mint leaves in .25 oz Simple Syrup (1 part sugar:1 part water) Add 2 oz Fino Sherry .75 oz Aperol (Italian aperitif with orange peel/grapefruit notes) .5 oz Grapefruit Shrub (can also make your own by mixing grapefruit, grapefruit juice, cane sugar, and apple cider vinegar) .75 oz Fresh Lime Juice Shake with ice and strain into a Collins glass with a few ice cubes. Top with 1-1.5 oz Club Soda. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime wedge
