A Thanksgiving-inspired Old Fashioned that balances decadent fall flavors with a bittersweet undercurrent 🦃🍂 The blend of aged and pot still dark rums provides a flavorful base with notes of molasses and brown sugar that works very nicely with the rich pumpkin and baking spice notes in the pumpkin pie syrup while the Amaro balances the drink with some bittersweet notes. The bitters add additional clove and other complementary spice notes. Pairs excellently with a slice of pie and the amaro should help aid digestion. Happy Thanksgiving!
