Letter #23

A Manhattan riff accented by strawberry, cola, and a bit of spice
Splitting the base spirit between a hibiscus tea-infused bourbon highlights the strawberry flavor without making things too sweet while the spicy Rye gives the drink needed oomph
1 oz Hibiscus tea-infused bourbon (steep ~1 tsp tea in a few oz of bourbon for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally; strain out tea leaves)
1 oz Rye (higher proof bottle with some spice is best)
.5 oz Amaro Meletti (softer Amaro with cola notes and some spices)
.25 oz Strawberry Liqueur (Giffard Creme de Fraise des Bois is very nice)
2 dashes Aromatic Bitters (Abbott's/Angostura/Bitter Truth etc)
Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish
