Last Christmas

A rich, comforting egg nog riff inspired by the flavors of raspberry tootsie rolls 🍫☕️🍓🥚🎄 The trio of blended aged rum, aged rhum agricole, and overproof dark rum create a base with notes of caramelized sugar, vanilla, poached tropical fruit, and subtle coffee/red fruit. These flavors are boosted by additions of raspberry, chocolate, and coffee liqueurs while the whole egg and heavy cream add richness and body. A splash of an Amaro with dark chocolate/berry notes helps add a touch of bittersweet flavor while tying together the flavors. Basically a boozy raspberry chip milkshake 1 oz Blended Aged Rum (Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva or El Dorado 12 are great choice) .5 oz Aged Agricole Rhum (Clement VSOP, Neisson Eleve Sous Bois, Trois Rivieres, etc) .25 oz Overproof Dark Rum (Plantation OFTD; Golden Devil Overproof Dark, etc) .25 oz Amaro Brucato Woodlands (American Amaro with medium bittersweetness and notes of dark chocolate, coffee, red fruits) .5 oz Raspberry Liqueur (St George or Giffard) .25 oz Creme de Cacao (Tempus Fugit) .25 oz Coffee Liqueur (St George NOLA, Mr Black, etc) 1 oz Heavy Cream 1 whole egg Dry shake (no ice) for 20 seconds; add a few ice cubes and shake for another 15-20 seconds before straining into a chilled double rocks glass.
