Landed Gentry

A fragrant, elegant riff on an Old Fashioned (with some elements of a Negroni) from Houston’s Alba Huerta
The chamomile notes in the Blanc vermouth work with the botanicals/floral aromas in the Suze and absinthe mist and the agave to produce a pleasant, low ABV supper with floral notes
1 oz Blanco Tequila (since only using 1 oz, feel free to use a nicer Blanco like Fortaleza or Ocho)
.5 oz Blanc/Bianco Vermouth
.5 oz Suze (French amaro with alpine flowers, herbs and gentian)
.25 oz Maraschino Liqueur (Luxardo)
Barspoon Agave
Stir with ice and strain into a chilled rocks glass that has been rinsed or spritzed with Absinthe (or Herbsaint) and contains a large ice cube. Feel free to garnish with an edible flower if handy
