Jack Frost

A cool, refreshing Mojito variation from LA bartender Devon Tarby that also has a hint of winter flavor ❄️ The pear brandy, blanco tequila, and dry vermouth split base brings a nuanced, juicy pear with a bit of white wine flavor that is supplemented by some cooling mint liqueur and some fresh lime brings balancing acidity .75 oz Blanco Tequila (As long as 100% agave and blanco, hard to make wrong choice)
.75 oz Pear Brandy (St George makes a great one, but Clear Creek is also nice)
.75 oz Dry Vermouth (Dolin, La Quintinye, etc)
Tsp Creme de Menthe (Tempus Fugit or Giffard make nice versions, steer clear of the green-dyed stuff)
.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz Simple Syrup
Shake with a small piece of ice and strain into a chilled Collins glass with ice cubes or crushed ice. Garnish with a mint bouquet (feel free to add some sage too, if handy)
