A whimsical take on a Sour from Danny Louie (Alembic/Mosto/Mister Jiu in SF) where the ratio of citrus to sweet has been flipped to Trick the tongue and brain The barrel spice in the reposado tequila, cinnamon notes in the Becherovka, nutty/malty notes from the orgeat all combine with just a bit of lime juice to give the impression that the drink tastes of green apples (and cinnamon and tequila) 1.5 oz Reposado Tequila .75 oz Becherovka (Czech amaro with pronounced cinnamon notes) .75 oz Orgeat (Small Hand Foods makes my favorite, but there are several other options) .25 oz Lime Juice Shake with ice, strain into chilled coupe.
