The addition of flavorful strawberry preserves and lemon give the drink a summery boost while the bit of coconut adds a hint of richness on the finish, the mezcal a whisper of smoke, and the rhubarb bitters tie everything together 1.5 oz Rooibos Tea-Infused Reposado Tequila (1/2 tsp tea to 2 oz Repo tequila, stir occasionally and let infuse 1-2 hours before straining) .5 oz Mezcal (Espadin variety) .75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .25 oz Coconut Liqueur (Kalani) 1 tsp Strawberry Preserves (quality preserves shine through) 1 dash Rhubarb Bitters (Crude, Fee Brothers, etc) Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe.
