A nuanced tropical daiquiri from NYC’s eminent Death & Co with intriguing floral and tropical notes
The aged rhum agricole has notes of caramelized sugar and vanilla that work really well with the passion fruit and citrus. The Bolivian brandy adds a floral aroma while also adding some subtle stone fruit notes and the Galliano boosts the vanilla while adding a touch of subtle star anise
1.5 oz Aged Rhum Agricole (Clement VSOP, La Favorite Ambre, etc)
.5 oz Bolivian Brandy (Singani 63; Pisco, especially the torentel variety, could sub)
.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz Galliano L’autentico (Liqueur with vanilla and star anise notes)
.25 oz Passionfruit Liqueur (Giffard)
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish
