Golden Bough

A rich Manhattan riff from Death & Co NYC that is reminiscent of an oatmeal raisin cookie The prune brandy and the vanilla and caramel notes in the bourbon lend a rich flavorful base while the vermouth brings notes of fruit and spice, the walnut liqueur adds nutty flavors, and the Angostura brings some baking spice. A nice, relaxing after-dinner sipper 1.5 oz Louis Roque Prune Brandy (infusing a Highland heavy Scotch blend with raisins is probably a workable sub) .5 oz Bourbon (Elijah Craig, Buffalo Trace, McKenna, etc) .5 oz Sweet Vermouth (the fruit and spice notes in the Cocchi Vermouth di Torino is nice) .25 oz Nocino (Walnut Liqueur from Italy) 2 dashes Angostura Bitters Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish
