Ginger Snap

Refreshing Daiquiri/Sour variation with ginger bite and a touch of baking spice from Joaquin Simo (Death & Co, Pouring Ribbons)
The Overproof Smith & Cross brings some funk while the cognac provides a smooth base. The lemon and orange liqueur bring a bit of brightness
1.5 oz Cognac (no need to go too fancy, but a bit of age (VSOP) brings better flavor)
.5 oz Smith & Cross overproof rum .75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
.5 oz Rhum Clement Creole Shrub (rum-based orange liqueur; Grand Marnier is probably the closest sub)
.25 oz Cinnamon Bark Syrup
.25 oz Ginger Syrup
Shake with ice, strain into chilled coupe. No garnish
