A rich, yet nuanced Pina Colada riff with notes of berries, green chile and subtle smoke 🍹🥥🍓🌶 The citrus zest and green vegetal notes in the unaged tequila work very well with the green chile notes in the infused vodka while the addition of Mezcal amps up the agave and citrus zest notes while also adding a touch of smoke. Both the green chile and smoke notes combine with the rich coconut (from coconut creme and a splash of liqueur) to form a nuanced yet delicious pairing. Strawberry (from muddled fresh berry and a splash of liqueur) adds additional complementary fruit notes to result in a delicious drink with lots of layered flavor Muddle 2-3 ripe strawberries (hulled and sliced up) in 1 Tsp Strawberry Liqueur (Giffard is best option). 1 oz Blanco Tequila (100% agave; Tapatio, El Tesoro, etc) .5 oz Mezcal (Espadin variety; Del Maguey San Luis Del Rio has nice balance of smoke and citrus) .5 oz St George Green Chile Vodka (vodka infused with jalapeño, poblano, serrano chiles and cilantro) .75 oz Fresh Lime Juice .5 oz Coconut Creme (equal volumes of unsweetened coconut milk and simple syrup made with coconut water instead of tap; stir until combined and add a pinch of salt) .25 oz Coconut Liqueur (Kalani or Clement) Shake with ice and strain into a chilled double rocks glass with a few ice cubes. Garnish with a lime wheel and sliced strawberry #weekendtiki #streetfightingman #farleyforever
