Follow Your Nose

A refreshing, fragrant/floral Daiquiri riff with notes of tropical fruit, vanilla, citrus that would be a hit with Toucan Sam 🦜🏝🗿 The blended rum and cachaca add notes of molasses and sugarcane that are complemented by the tropical fruit notes from the passionfruit and coconut liqueurs. The addition of Bolivian brandy (torontel Pisco would be a good sub) adds a floral note that boosts the aroma and complements the softer flavors. The splash of vanilla liqueur and bitters add complementary notes of vanilla, chamomile, ginger, and allspice 1 oz Blended Lightly Aged Rum (Plantation 3 Star, Cana Brava, etc) .5 oz Unaged Cachaca (Avua Prata, Novo Fogo Silver) .5 oz Bolivian Brandy (Singani 63; torontel variety of Pisco would also sub well) .75 oz Fresh Lime Juice .25 oz Passionfruit Liqueur (Giffard; passionfruit syrup from Small Hand Foods or similar would sub) .25 oz Vanilla Liqueur or Syrup (Licor 43 or Giffard for former) Tsp Coconut Liqueur (Kalani) 1 dash Bittercube Jamaican #1 Bitters (ginger and allspice) 1 dash Bittercube Bolivar Bitters (chamomile and dark fruits) Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe.
