Five Points

A bittersweet Manhattan riff from Death & Co Denver with a complex, smoky flavor and notes of cocoa and spiced nuts 🥜 🍫🥃 The subtle baking spice notes in the reposado tequila and smoke notes in the mezcal provide a nice accent to the complex bittersweet notes in the Amaro and vermouth while the milk chocolate notes in the Amaro Nardini combine with the cocoa notes in the vermouth and the chocolate mole bitters to lend a rounded chocolate note. The Nocino helps add a touch of sweetness while also bringing notes of walnut 1.5 oz Reposado Tequila (El Tesoro, Siembre Valles, Ocho, etc) .5 oz Mezcal (Espadin variety) .5 oz Amaro Nardini (medium bittersweet Amaro with notes of chocolate and menthol) Fat .25 oz Sweet Vermouth (Carpano has nice cocoa notes) Tsp Amaro Lucano (medium bittersweet Amaro with notes of orange peel) Tsp Nocino (Italian liqueur from walnuts) 2 dashes Chocolate Mole Bitters (Bittermens, Scrappy’s, Miracle Mile, etc) Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with essential oils from an orange twist; discarding twist after squeezing)
