Fantabulous Razzmatazz

A refreshingly tart punch with notes of berries, cherries, lime, and a touch of smoke 🍹🍒 The blend of blanco tequila and mezcal results in a base with notes of citrus zest, pepper, stone fruit, and a hint of smoke that highlight the flavor of the raspberry in the muddled fruit and sour beer. Splashes of Crema de Mezcal, Maraschino, and vanilla liqueur add complementary notes of cherry and vanilla while the fresh lime juice and sour beer balance the drink with fruit-forward acidity Muddle a handful of fresh raspberries in .25 oz Crema de Mezcal (Mezcal-based liqueur with fruit basket notes) Add: 1 oz Blanco Tequila (Tapatio, El Tesoro, Fortaleza, etc) .5 oz Mezcal (Espadin variety; Del Maguey San Luis Del Rio has nice lime zest and smoke notes) .75 oz Fresh Lime Juice .25 oz Maraschino Liqueur Tsp Vanilla Liqueur or Syrup (Giffard or Licor 43 for the former) 1 dash Scrappy’s Lime Bitters Shake with ice and double strain into a footed pilsner or Mai Tai glass with a few ice cubes. Top with 1.5 oz of berry-forward fruited sour beer (pictured is Great Notion Jammy Pants with raspberry, cherry, lime). Garnish with a swizzle stick #weekendtiki
