Electro Lit

A refreshing, tropical Swizzle/highball riff from Christine Wiseman of Broken Shaker LA that is perfect for a warm weather afternoon or evening
The pepper/lime zest/herbal notes in the Blanco tequila is a nice vessel for carrying through the sweet/tart fruit flavors of the passionfruit liqueur and tart lime juice while the curry-turmeric syrup and Angostura provide some complementary spice notes and the coconut water lengthens the drink while providing some subtle coconut accents
1.5 oz Blanco Tequila (100% agave; Tapatio, Siembra Azul, etc)
.75 oz Passionfruit Liqueur (Giffard)
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
2 oz Coconut Water
.5 oz Curry-Turmeric Syrup (For 1/2 cup, add 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup water, 3/4 tsp curry powder, and 3/8 tsp turmeric; stir under low heat until fully combined and sugar is dissolved)
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled Collins glass with crushed ice. Top with crushed ice and garnish with a swizzle stick and a sprig of fresh mint
