A funky slightly unorthodox Tiki-fied Sour/Daiquiri originally uncovered by Ted Saucier and updated by Chicago drink whiz Paul McGee 🍑🏝 The funky, tropical Jamaican Overproof Rum works very nicely with the stone fruit flavor from the peach liqueur while the Jamaican Lightly Aged Blended Rum adds notes of molasses and caramel that work nicely with the bits of Sweet Vermouth and rich simple syrup and the lime brightens and lightens the drink. A nice, refreshing drink to enjoy at the end of the work week .75 oz Jamaican Overproof Rum (Rum Fire, Hampden Estate Overproof, etc) .75 oz Blended Lightly Aged Jamaican Rum (Appleton Signature works nicely) .5 oz Sweet Vermouth (Cocchi Vermouth di Torino has nice subtle fruit notes that work well here) .25 oz Peach Liqueur (Giffard) .75 oz Fresh Lime Juice Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish
