Domo Affogato

A boozy Affogato inspired by a really delicious black sesame ice cream from BiRite in SF The nutty sesame is complemented by the honey notes in the Benedictine, the roasted notes in the coffee liqueur and Guinness, the smoke/malt notes from the Japanese whiskies, and the matcha Add the following to a pot on medium heat: 1.5 oz Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky .5 oz Suntory Hakushu (or other comparably smokey Japanese whisky) .25 oz Coffee Liqueur (St George NOLA is my favorite) .25 oz Benedictine (Liqueur made by Benedictine monks with honey and saffron notes) Once the mixture is warm, add .5 oz Guinness Stout Pour this mixture over a large scoop of black sesame ice cream in a double rocks glass and top with a dash of matcha powder
