A playful Old-Fashioned riff from Death & Co NYC with some boosted fruit notes 💎🍍🍒 The split base of bourbon and brandy results in some enhanced fruit flavor from the brandy that accents the vanilla/caramel/baking spice notes in the bourbon. The use of a hopped pineapple liqueur (pineapple liqueur with two dashes of Hop Bitters) contributes a tropical aroma with a hint of bitterness from the hop that helps cut the sweetness. The splashes of maraschino liqueur and peach bitters add some additional fruit cocktail notes without making things too sweet
1.5 oz Bourbon (bottled in bond options like McKenna, Old Forester Prohibition, etc add a bit of oomph)
.5 oz Brandy (American options like Osocalis or Bertoux work well, could also use a more fruit-forward Cognac)
.25 oz Pineapple Liqueur
Tsp Maraschino Liqueur (Luxardo)
2 dashes Bittercube Door County Hop Bitters
1 dash Peach Bitters (Bitter Truth, Fee Brothers, etc)
Stir with ice and strain into a chilled double rocks glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange or lemon twist
