A blood-red Tropical Negroni riff from NYC’s ever-excellent Death & Co for Halloween imbibing 🎃 👻 The funky banana/ripe tropical fruit notes in the pot still Jamaican rum and caraway/other spice notes in the Aged aquavit are a nice counterpunch to the bittersweet notes in the Campari and cocoa notes in the sweet vermouth. A great aperitif before getting up to evening tricks and treats (or a regular meal on other days) .5 oz Pot Still Jamaican Rum (Smith & Cross) .5 oz Aged Aquavit (Linie makes my favorite version) 1 oz Campari (or other red aperitivo of choice; Cappelletti would also be nice) 1 oz Sweet Vermouth (Carpano Antica or Cocchi Vermouth di Torino are options that work well here) Stir with ice and strain into a chilled double rocks glass with a large ice cube.
