A tasty riff on a Brown Derby/Whiskey Sour that uses grapefruit and apricot from Anu Apte-Elford of Seattle’s Rob Roy The jammy sweetness of the apricot mingles nicely with the caramel and vanilla notes from the bourbon while the grapefruit lightens things up and cuts the sweetness 1.5 oz Bourbon .75 Fresh Grapefruit Juice .5 oz Apricot Liqueur (Giffard, Rothman & Winter, etc) Barspoon Rich Simple Syrup (2:1) Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe.
