Chester Copperpot

A full flavored, easy-sipping Old Fashioned riff that hides some hidden tropical treasures underneath the notes of molasses and touch of smoke 🏝🧉 The molasses and brown sugar notes in the aged rum work nicely with the touches of caramel and smoke from the cognac and scotch. Meanwhile the splashes of pineapple and coconut liqueurs work with the ginger/allspice and hibiscus/grapefruit peel notes in the bitters to guide the drink in a sippably tropical direction. A delicious after dinner drink! 1.5 oz Blended Aged Rum (Diplomatico, El Dorado 12, etc) Tsp Cognac (VSOP or similar recommended) Tsp Single Malt Islay Scotch (Laphroaig, Caol Ila, Laguvulin, etc) .25 oz Coconut Liqueur (Kalani) .25 oz Pineapple Liqueur (Giffard) 1 dash Bittercube Jamaican #1 Bitters (or sub with allspice/ginger forward alternative) 1 dash Bittercube Jamaican #2 Bitters (or sub with hibiscus and grapefruit notes) Stir with ice and strain into a chilled double rocks glass with a large ice cube.
