Cherry Blossom

Stirred drink in the Old Fashioned template that tastes like a boozier version of a chocolate covered cherry from Canon in Seattle
Despite ingredients that read sweet, it should be noted that eau de vie + high proof Rye are quite the opposite and the only sweetness comes from the bit of Creme de Cacao
1.25 oz Rye (higher proof bottle; e.g. Rittenhouse works best)
.75 oz Kirschwasser (cherry eau de vie, popular in Central Europe)
.25 oz Creme de Cacao (Tempus Fugit makes my favorite version)
1 dash Aromatic Bitters (Abbott's shown, but Angostura, Bitter Truth, Miracle Mile Forbidden all work)
Stir with ice, strain into chilled coupe. Garnish with a brandied cherry
