A refreshing, lightly spiced Daiquiri/Sour variation for fall that uses some delicious Scandinavian ingredients The caraway notes in the aquavit work well with the botanicals in the gin and the cinnamon/clove/etc in the Glogg liqueur and the grapefruit juice is a great foil for the cinnamon and spice notes (analogous to Don’s mix in Tiki drinks). The lime rounds out the citrus profile and the bit of vermouth makes the flavors in the drink more full 1.5 oz Aquavit (a slightly aged version brings a nice depth of flavor) .5 oz Gin .5 oz Geijer Glogg Liqueur (liqueur based on Scandinavian mulled wine/Glogg) .25 oz Blanc/Bianco Vermouth (Dolin or Carpano) .5 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice .25 oz Fresh Lime Juice 2 dashes Crude Rizzo Bitters (rosemary, grapefruit, pink peppercorn) Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe.
