A refreshing, tropical rum punch from NYC’s Shannon Mustipher 🏝🍌🥥🍫 The blend of rums bring notes of molasses, baking spice, and tropical fruit aromas that work nicely with the flavors of banana and cocoa. The addition of coconut water lightens the drink while providing some coconut flavor and the tart lime juice brings everything into balance
2 oz Aged Bajan (Barbados) Rum (Real McCoy 12, Mount Gay Black Barrell, etc)
1 oz Blended Aged Demerara Rum (El Dorado 8 yr, Hamilton 86 Demerara, etc)
.75 oz Banana Liqueur (Giffard, Tempus Fugit)
Scant .5 oz Creme de Cacao (Tempus Fugit, Giffard, etc)
1 oz Coconut Water
1.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled footed pilsner glass or Tiki mug with crushed ice. Garnish with a lime shell and swizzle stick
