Aloha, Mr Hand

An Old Fashioned riff with some flavor notes reminiscent of a pina colada
The stone fruit notes and hint of smoke in the Japanese whisky is complemented nicely by the tropical accents from the coconut and pineapple liqueur. The Ume (sour plum) and cinnamon/spice-forward Tiki bitters and spice and depth while the lemon twist adds a hint of citrus aroma
2 oz Aged Japanese Whisky (Yamazaki 12 yr is great, Nikka Taketsuru also works)
1 tsp Rich Simple Syrup (2 parts unrefined sugar: 1 part water)
1/2 tsp Coconut Liqueur (Kalani)
1/2 tsp Pineapple Liqueur (Giffard; could probably sub pineapple gomme syrup)
1 dash Bittermens Elemakule Tiki Bitters
1 dash Miracle Mile Ume Bitters
Stir with ice, strain into double rocks glass with a few ice cubes. Garnish with a lemon twist
PS, sorry for the gap, was taking a break to refresh and come up with new ideas
