A Single Plum Floating in Perfume, Served in a Man’s Hat

A daiquiri riff that incorporates more delicious summer stonefruit with some added tropical accents The sweet/tart notes of the pluot (can also use a plum) are boosted by the Ume bitters and complemented by the tropical pineapple flavor from the Stiggins Fancy Rum and the tropical aromas and molasses notes in the Jamaican Rum (also a great flavor pair with stonefruit) while the lime ensures things don’t get too sweet Muddle 3-4 slices of ripe pluot or plum in 1/2 oz Rich Simple Syrup (2:1) Add: 1 oz Plantation Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple Rum 1 oz Blended Lightly Aged Jamaican Rum (Appleton Signature is a great choice) .75 oz Fresh Lime Juice 2 dashes Miracle Mile Ume Bitters Shake with ice and double strain into a chilled double rocks glass with a few ice cubes. Garnish with a fan of plum or pluot slices
