A Coy Decoy

A tropical, refreshing punch from Indianapolis bartender Chris Coy that shows gin and herbal flavors are also good guests at the Tiki party ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—ฟ The blend of juniper-forward gin with a more aromatic gin and some cucumber creates an aromatic and cooling base that plays well with the tropical tartness of the pineapple and lime juices. Grapefruit liqueur balances the two elements and adds a touch of bitterness while the chamomile notes in the bitters and the fresh mint add to the pleasant aroma Muddle 2-3 cucumber wheels in .75 oz Grapefruit Liqueur (Giffard) Add: 1 oz London Dry Gin (Beefeater, Fords, etc) .5 oz New American or other aromatic style of Gin (Four Pillars, Uncle Valโ€™s Hendricks, etc) .75 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice .75 oz Fresh Lime Juice 1 dash Bitter Truth Cucumber Bitters 1 dash Bittermens Boston Bittahs (chamomile notes) Shake with ice and strain into a chilled footed pilsner or Tiki mug with crushed ice.
